Support the "Life Really Can Be Sweeter" Endowment

Be More Than Just Sweet Challenge:

Our goal is to empower 200,000 people and help them heal from abuse. Together, we can heal our communities.

Step 1 —Donate

Donate $5 for each person you will be helping.
(1 friend = $5 donation, 5 friends = $25 donation)
100% of your donations go to the Life Really Can Be Sweeter
lifelong endowment at The Safe Alliance.

Currently: $12,166.00 raised, and 2,433 people being healed from abuse by friends!

Step 2 — Take Action

Help friends, family, and community members who have ever been abused.

Befriend — Offer your presence and listen.
Protect — Stand as an ally and call for help.
Empower — Accompany your friend toward confident flight.

Your actions lead to hope and healing, and it is easy to take action!

"Make every action brilliant!" – Ryan Coover

We deeply appreciate your support!

Inspiration

"So far as ye are able, ignite a candle of love in every meeting, and with tenderness rejoice and cheer ye every heart. Care for the stranger as for one of your own; show to alien souls the same loving kindness ye bestow upon your faithful friends…. Perchance such ways and words from you will make this darksome world turn bright at last; will make this dusty earth turn heavenly… so that war and strife will pass and be no more, and love and trust will pitch their tents on the summits of the world."

Volunteer-Inspired Projects at SAFE

Refreshments for SAFE’s 40-Hour Core Advocate Training Program
Many volunteers come straight from work and are hungry. For this project, $65 gift cards are given to willing volunteers to buy refreshments or make their own home-cooked creations for fellow volunteers at 33 volunteer training sessions per year. Refreshments have proven to cultivate a strong community spirit, which in turn makes volunteers better able to support survivors.

Currently funded from 2013 through 2021.

Eloise House Mural
This project raised funds and built a team of volunteers who painted a mural for the exterior of the new sexual assault forensic exam facility at SAFE.

Completed October 2015
